Privacy Policy

innerbuilder (the "operator") handles personal information in the iOS app Subnudge (the "app") as described below.
The principle behind this app is: "your financial records never leave your device."
1. Information kept only on your device
- Your expense, subscription, and free-trial records, the decisions you make about notifications, and saving calculations: kept only inside your iPhone (the app's database). They are not sent to or stored on the operator's servers.
- Voice: when you log something by speaking, your voice is turned into text inside your iPhone by the speech recognition built into the device, in the app's speech language (English in the United States), and no recording is saved. Only if your device cannot recognize that language on the device itself, the app tells you first, and your voice may be sent to Apple's speech recognition servers if you choose "Continue anyway" (Apple's privacy policy applies).
- Settings (when notifications fire, whether onboarding is finished): kept only on your device.
If you delete the app or run "Delete all records" in Settings, the information above is deleted from your device, and the operator has no copy left to delete.
2. Account information โ not collected
The app has no sign-up and no login. No account is created when you buy the paid plan either, so the operator
neither collects nor keeps your name, email, or any account identifier. All the operator's server does is
show these terms and policy pages; it does not run a database of information that identifies users.
For payment verification and app usage analytics, the identifiers in sections 3 and 4 below (randomly generated values) are used โ
values that are not linked to a name or an email.
3. Payment information
Payment is handled by the Apple App Store, and the operator never receives payment method details such as card numbers. To check your plan status,
RevenueCat (a subscription management service) processes your App Store receipt and an app user identifier (a random, anonymous ID created by the app โ it is not linked to your name or email).
When you send a question about a payment, that anonymous ID is included in the email so the operator can find which purchase you mean.

4. App usage analytics and error reporting (PostHog)
To improve the app, usage events and error information are sent to PostHog (servers in the United States). Here is what is sent and what is not.
- What is sent: the event name (for example, "notification scheduled", "decision made"), values that indicate a kind (trial or renewal, spoken or typed, expense category), counts, yes/no values, and device information such as app version, OS version, device model, language, and time zone. If an error occurs, the error message and where in the code it happened.
- What is never sent: amounts (neither individual amounts nor totals), merchant names, subscription service names, the content of your speech, your email, or your name. Session recording and automatic screenshots are not used.
- Events are grouped only by a random, anonymous ID created by PostHog. Names, emails, and account identifiers are not sent.

5. Other communication outside your device
- Exchange rates: to show a price listed in another currency in your own currency, the app fetches nothing but the exchange rate from an outside rate service, once a day. None of your data is sent when it does.
- Notifications: charge and trial-ending notifications are local notifications your iPhone raises by itself. There is no notification server, and nothing in a notification leaves your device.
6. Your rights
- Records: you can edit or delete them yourself inside the app.
- Account: there is no account in the first place, so there is no account to delete. The operator holds no information that could identify you.
- Notification, microphone, and speech recognition permissions: you can turn them off at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and the operator does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy, and contact
When this policy changes, notice is given in the app or on this page. Privacy questions: innerbuilder.co@gmail.com
